Harry Potter Midnight Screening

Jul 2011

Staff at Leiston Film Theatre are bracing themselves for major queues this summer, when the concluding part in the Harry Potter films is screened at the venue from the UK release date of Friday 15th July.

The final part to the worldwide cinematic phenomenon, which will be shown in both eye-popping 3D and digital 2D at Leiston Film Theatre, sees Harry, Ron, and Hermione go back to Hogwarts to find and destroy Voldemort's final horcruxes, but when Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.

The film's producers have recently revealed that this film contains a lot of action, including a spectacular 30 minute battle of Hogwarts and the thrilling Harry vs. Voldemort sequence delivers a finale of epic proportions, leaving Harry Potter fans anxious to see the film first.

Leiston Film Theatre has proudly screened all 7 films in the Harry Potter series from their UK release dates and manager Wayne Burns is predicting that this final instalment will be the biggest of them all. "It's quite an achievement for a small Council owned independent cinema to have shown all these films from their release dates and much of that is due to the  continued support from our loyal customers. We have no doubt that this is going to be the 'must-see' film of the summer and would urge customers to book well in advance to avoid those queues." he said.

To celebrate this final chapter, Leiston Film Theatre is screening a special midnight show of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (12A), in 3D, at 00.05am on Friday 15th July and a parent and baby morning show is planned for Thursday 21st July at 10.30am.

Tickets for these and all other Harry Potter screenings are available from 10.00am on Friday 10th June from the box office on 01728 830549 or online by clicking here.
