WHAT'S going on? The film Theatre dairy is full of films and shows for November, so let's get started and tell you all about them!

After a record breaking box office with the new James Bond film SkyFall (12A) we have decided to extend its run until Thursday 15th November, with a matinee on Wednesday 14th November. Not to worry if you haven't had a chance to catch Daniel Craig as 007, there's still time! Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her and when MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter her personal the cost! Book your tickets today to avoid those ques!!

The High-charged Taken 2 (12A) is on screen from Friday 16th November and sees Liam Neeson returning as retired CIA operative Bryan Mill, whose wife is taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper that Mills killed while recusing his daughter in 2008. His duaghter evades capture and insists on helping her parents escape. Great edge-of-seat stuff!

We have a very special event on Sunday 18th November, when we present a special presentation of the 1926 silent B & W classic, The General (U), starring Buster Keaton as an engineer, who goes in pursuit of his beloved locomotive, when it is stolen by Union spies and featuring Live Musical accompaniment by Suffolk Concert Organist, Tom Horton. Tickets are priced 8.00 and are now available from the Film Theatre box office, with all proceeds in aid of Leiston Film Theatre Support Club.

Fans of the Fab 4 will no doubt be looking forward to an appearance by The UpBeat Beatles, who appear live at Leiston Film Theatre on Wednesday 21st November. Relive the sounds and excitement of the 60's, in this 'not to be missed' evening of fine entertainment, courtesy of one of the premier Beatles tribute bands, as part of their 2012 UK Tour. All seats only 12.50 and are now available from the Film Theatre box office.

November comes to a close with the final chapter in the magnification Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (12A), showing from Friday 23rd November, with matinees on Saturday 24th and Wednesday 28th November. Then from Friday 30th November, Chris O'Dowd and Deborah Mailman star in the brilliant The Sapphires (PG). 1968 was the year that changed the world. And four young Aboriginal sisters from a remote mission this is the year that would change their lives forever. Billed as Australia's answer to 'The Supremes', the sisters are flown to Vietnam to sing for the American Troops.
