We can hardly believe that Easter has arrived already and Leiston Film Theatre has never been so busy. We have a packed April programme, with something for everyone, from glow-in-the-dark puppets to eye-popping 3D - brilliant entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

For Easter we welcome back the crazy big screen antics of The Muppets (U) from Saturday 31st March. When three Muppet fans learn that a greedy oil tycoon wants to drill under the Muppet theatre, they set out to find the Muppets and save the theatre. The perfect family treat for the Easter holidays.

Disney's spectacular fantasy 3D action adventure John Carter 3D (12A) plays from Friday 30th March in 3D and in digital 2D on Monday 2nd April.  A Civil War veteran is transplanted to Mars, where he discovers a lush, wildly diverse planet whose main inhabitants are 12-foot tall green barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter Dejah Thoris, Princess of Helium, who is in desperate need of a saviour.

The heart warming tale of We Brought a Zoo (PG) comes to our screen from Friday 6th April. The amazing true story of a single father who decides his family needs a fresh start, so they move to the most unlikely of places: a zoo. With the help of park staff and with many misadventures along the way, the family works to return the dilapidated zoo to its former wonder and glory.

Not to be missed the A 3D family fun continues with Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson and Michael Caine starring in, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island 3D (PG) from Friday 6th April in 3D and in digital 2D on Tuesday 10th April. A fantastic 3D action adventure, shot in 3D and featuring some terrific effects, in which a family go in search of their grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island, with dangers including an erupting volcano and dangerous creatures around every rock!

Britain's Got Talent's winner George Sampson and a cast of incredible dancers star in Street Dance 2 3D (PG), which is showing from Friday 13th April in 3D and in digital 2D on Monday 16th April.  After suffering humiliation by the dance crew Invincible, street dancer Ash looks to gather the best dancers from around the world for a rematch.

Returning for three days only, in amazing Dolby 3D, Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace 3D (U), shows from Friday 13th April. A Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, uncover a sinister plan, when they are sent to protect Queen Amildala. As their pursuit continues, the pair encounters a young Anakin Skywalker and the dark forces of Darth Maul.

April draws a close with a powerful film based on the best selling novels by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games (12A), from Friday 20th April. Set in a future, 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors on live television. When the younger sister of a 16-year-old is selected to fight, she volunteers to take her place and her male counterpart will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.
