Supporting the RSPCA

Oct 2010

All this week Leiston Film Theatre are supporting the RSPCA in our area to help raise awareness for the work they do in protecting our wildlife. So why not pop along to the theatre and not only learn more about what the RSPCA do but also enjoy the fantastic film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole (PG) in breath taking 3D at the same time.

From Friday 29th October until and including Thursday 4th November the RSPCA will have a display of all the charity's work within our foyer. Fundraising co-ordinator Laura Fagg said "The Leiston Film Theatre has been incredibly supportive and we hope to build strong links between the two organisations in the future." The RSPCA are also looking for fundraising volunteers within the Leiston and local area for the Suffolk East Coast Branch, who work tirelessly to help prevent the cruelty to domestic and wild animals.

We at Leiston Film Theatre are pleased to support and work along side the RSPCA in our local area, as we are certainly lucky to have some wonderful wildlife on our doorstep. We hope that we are able to help in raising awareness for the charity.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or would like to find out more about the RSPCA then come along to one of our screenings of the Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole (PG), showing all this week except for Wednesday 3rd November at 7.20pm and 3pm screenings on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October or email Laura on
