NSPCC screening raises £1,015

Aug 2013

With a little help from Leiston Film Theatre, the Aldeburgh branch of the NSPCC have recently raised an impressive £1,015 at a special fund raising screening of the film The Great Gatsby at Leiston Film Theatre in June. The event, which was arranged by committee members Beth Goose and Lizzie Pick, provided a much needed boost for the charity, that strives to offer support and end cruelty to children in the UK.

Leiston Film Theatre manager, Wayne Burns is very pleased with the outcome of the special screening. “We were very happy to assist the NSPCC in their fund raising endeavours and as we enjoy having close links with our younger visitors, it seemed only appropriate that Leiston Film Theatre should support this wonderful cause” he said.
